Meet Your New ST Series Leader: David Lindstrom
NASA Arizona’s Super Touring series is shifting into high gear for 2026—and leading the charge is David Lindstrom with fresh energy, grassroots grit, and a driver-first vision.
David Lindstrom is a Phoenix native and a passionate fan of grassroots automotive racing. When he’s not at the track, you might find him enjoying black coffee, diner pie, and yacht rock. He first joined NASA in 2011, initially participating in a handful of HPDE events. After a brief 10-year detour, he returned to NASA AZ in 2021 to seriously begin his competition career. Within a single year, he was competing in Time Trials; within two, he earned his competition license; and by year three, he completed his first wheel-to-wheel race in NASA’s Super Touring (ST) series. He now competes in ST4 with the #777 Nissan 350Z.
Now, as the new Super Touring Series Leader, David is ready to help others make that same climb. The Super Touring series is a tremendous opportunity for nearly any car to compete in the big show—from classic Nissan Sentras to supercharged Corvettes on slicks, ST truly has a class for everyone. David believes that while the machines are diverse, it’s the drivers who make the series super. His first initiatives for ST will revolve around driver interactivity and attendance transparency. The idea is for drivers to better know who else is on the grid and how often they’ll be there! This also extends to individuals who have an interest in wheel-to-wheel racing. Current racers should expect contact from David in the near future, but for anyone else interested in Super Touring, his DMs are open!
