UMS Tuning Time Attack
Time Attack (TA)
The UMS Tuning Time Attack (TA) series was formed locally and is unique to the NASA Arizona Region. NASA AZ and UMS Tuning have partnered to create this series and all rules, format, driver classing and administration were formed by NASA AZ members. TA drivers pay $20-30 in additional to their regular registration fees to enter the competition.
TA Drivers are given 1 warm up lap, 2 hot laps, and 1 cool down lap. The objective is to set the one fastest hot lap in your respective group. Drivers are grouped into heats with other cars with approximately the same lap times and released in intervals to give max opportunity for clear track conditions. This competition series is open to HPDE3+ drivers.
Additional details and classing can be found here.
